Job Description:
The Accountant will be responsible for managing all accounting and financial activities related to the company's operations, with a particular focus on billing, payroll, taxes, budgets, and administration of systems such as SUA and IDSE.This position requires a highly skilled professional with advanced knowledge of Mexican tax compliance, accounting practices and regulations, regulatory reporting, financial audits and payroll processing.

Key Responsibilities:
1. General Accounting:
o Oversee financial accounting, ensuring that all company transactions are recorded correctly according to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

 o Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, as well as detailed accounting reports to assist with strategic decision-making.

o Manage external and internal audits, ensuring compliance with tax and accounting regulations.
2. Billing and Revenue Control:
o Supervise and coordinate the billing process, ensuring invoices are issued correctly and in compliance with legal and commercial requirements.
o Monitor cash flow and ensure that all revenues are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.
3. Payroll and Social Security:
o Manage payroll processing, ensuring accurate calculations and the correct application of tax deductions and employee benefits.
o Supervise Social Security contributions, INFONAVIT, and other legal obligations through the SUA system.
 o Administer employee enrollments and terminations with IMSS through IDSE, ensuring compliance with deadlines and regulations.
4. Taxes:
o Ensure the company’s tax obligations (ISR, VAT, etc.) are met by preparing and submitting tax returns on time. o Reconcile taxes and ensure timely payments to avoid penalties or fines.
o Stay up-to-date on changes in tax legislation that may impact the company.
5. Budgeting and Financial Control:
o Develop and manage the annual budget, controlling expenses and aligning them with the company's financial objectives.
o Prepare financial analysis to assist in strategic decision-making, identifying opportunities for cost savings and resource optimization.

Job Requirements:
 Educational Background:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, with advanced degree and CPA or equivalent
certification is preferred.
 Experience:
o Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting and finance, with at least 2 years in a senior accounting role, and multinational experience is preferred.
o Proven experience in managing payroll, taxes, budgets, and systems such as SUA and IDSE.
 o Experience supervising and managing teams, preferably in offices with more than 30 employees.
 Knowledge and Skills:
o In-depth knowledge of Mexican tax legislation (ISR, VAT, IMSS, INFONAVIT, etc.).
o Expertise in accounting, auditing, and financial analysis.
 o Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting software (preferably SAP, CONTPAQi, or similar).
 o Proficiency in SUA (Sistema Único de Autodeterminación) and IDSE (Sistema de Declaración de Salarios y Establecimientos).
o Knowledge and application of tax laws related to electronic invoicing.
o Advanced proficiency in English (both oral and written) for interaction with international clients and vendors.
 Competencies:
o Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve complex problems.
 o Leadership abilities and experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
 o Results-oriented and able to work under pressure.
 o Proactive, organized, and focused on continuous improvement.
 o Strong communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to various levels of the organization.
